Free FSX Key Command Guide Sheet

June 7, 2008

The kind folks at the FlightSim Pilot Shop have put together a free Key Command Guide Sheet for Flight Simulator X:

Many flight simmers, especially the more novice users, have a hard time remembering the numerous key commands associated with Flight Simulator. From flaps to lights to ATC commands, it can certainly get confusing. That’s why we’ve put together a handy spreadsheet featuring over 500 commands, labeled and formatted to fit over a key on a standard keyboard. Simply cut them out and affix them to your keys as needed. You could even take an extra keyboard that you might have laying around and utilize it exclusively for flight sim. You can customize it any way you’d like, even edit the commands to your preference. Best of all, it’s completely free! Here at FSPilotShop we want to help you get the most out of flight simulation!

Simply add the item to your cart and proceed to checkout. If you’ve never purchased from us before, you’ll be asked to create an account. If you’re an existing customer, you can simply login. Select the Paypal payment option so that you do not have to enter in any payment details and once you confirm your order, you’ll be able to download the spreadsheet instantly!

You can download the guide here.

Indeed! Curious, it was there yesterday! I’ll leave the link there for now in case they reinstate it.

Thanks for letting me know :)

Ain’t NO WAY that I’m inputting my credit card information to download something free. I think I smell a SCAM here!

I can assure you it isn’t a scam. Over 2,000 people have ordered items through the FlightSim Pilot Shop from this site alone, and not a single one of them has mentioned any problems.

I believe the software they’re using for their shop insists on credit card info when ANY “purchase” is made, even if it’s free. I’ll have a word with them to see if there’s anything they can do to get around this.

I’ve just had word from the FlightSim Pilot Shop that, if you use the PayPal option, you don’t need to enter your credit card details.

Hardly a guide, but more keycap labels.
But there are, you say, 500 labels and I don’t have 500 keys!
Hopw did you intend that I should apply the 500 to the keys on my keyboard!
