Eagle Simulations have released their Alturas Lake Airport for FSX.
Alturas lake is like an entirely new airport for FSX. It brings the lake and the airport back to life. By using satellite imagery both the airfield and the lake itself are to real life size specifications. Even boats have been placed with satellite images to ensure ultimate realism. This low frame hit scenery includes:
- New airport objects
- Planes
- Buildings
- Gliders
- Hot air balloons
- Static hot air balloons
- Static airborne hot air balloons over the lake
- Real sized lake textures
- Custom runway apron
- Improved terrain altitude
- Custom beacons for night flying
- Realistic Campgrounds
- Four different campgrounds
- Two high detail log cabins
- Boat dock and helipad
Beta testers called this scenery “A great buy!” and “A very scenic landscape!”. The FS Discover podcast says our new scenery “Transforms the way you look at bush flying!” and FSX Central gives our scenery “Two thumbs up! A great buy, better than everyother expensive bush flying scenery combined!”
