Fantastic news for fans of Real Air’s terrific SF260:

As our FSX info page states, we intend to release two different upgrade options: Path A is a Basic Upgrade that is for all intents and purposes a port-over of our FS2004 SF260 into FSX, and is free for existing FS2004 version SF260 customers. Path B is the FULL upgrade which includes all the new FSX features. We have worked night and day to get the Full FSX version out as soon as possible. We have a dilemma though….the free upgrade is not ready yet. We had two choices….hold back both upgrades until both were ready, or release what we have for the time being. If you want the free upgrade it will be appearing very soon….once Xmas celebrations are out of the way. We will be releasing it as soon as we possibly can. If however you wanted the Full (Path B) upgrade for which there is a modest charge it is now available, as is the full FSX version for new customers.

We want to assure you that we are not seeking to unfairly exploit our customers… we do not want to coerce anyone into buying the full upgrade if that is not what they want. If you wish to wait for the free upgrade please be patient and we will have this online as soon as we can. Please also note that the free update is not of the same standard as the payware update.

This is one upgrade I’ve really been looking forward to :)
